In October 2022, CalTier Fund 1 invested in the Sundance Bay Portfolio Fund, an open-ended fund targeting value-add and core-plus multi-family properties across the United States.

The Sundance Bay Portfolio Fund has assembled a diverse portfolio of multi-family assets offering opportunity for consistent yield and capital appreciation, with 24 properties located in sustainable growth areas throughout the United States, totaling $792 million in gross asset value.

Over the past year the fund has been able to enhance net operating income (NOI) through activities such as renovation. Currently, the majority of the portfolio is in the early stages of renovation and stabilization with the objective to provide capital appreciation and consistent income through acquiring, renovating, and managing primarily value-add and core-plus multi-family properties.
